History

Started in 1961 under the name "Mister Service," by our founder Carmen J. Barres Sr. we have been providing heating & cooling products and services to central, New York. M & R grew from a "one man operation" to a full service HVAC contracting firm, while maintaining that small business atmosphere.

Incorporating in 1973 our name changed to M & R Heating & Air Conditioning Service, Inc. Carmen Sr. retired in the mid 90's after many years of serving the heating and cooling needs of our area.

Carmen's son, Mark (president) is now operating the business and two other sons, Francis and Anthony, work as service technicians.

Our belief in providing honest, professional, and customer friendly service to the upstate New York community has been our policy from day one. We look forward to many more years of growth for future generations to come.
